Top Ten Bad English Accents


Cup of tea and or crumpets. Why is it that a bad English accent has almost become something of a Cliché. It seems everyone is doing it when and if they can. In fact some could argue that the infamous cockney Bert from Mary Poppins (as played by Dick Van Dyke) formed a large part of the films charm.

Whatever your opinion your probably wrong, a bad English accent isn’t something to be proud of. Shame, shame on you.

What your about to hear will offend your ears.

Nicolas Cage as that guy from National Treasure 2

Russell Crowe as Irish Robin Hood.

Gert Frobe as Goldfinger – “British, but he doesn’t sound like it”, allegedly the actor couldn’t provide us with a British accent and so just sounds German. 

Don Cheadle as the uncredited Basher Tarr in Oceans 11.

Keanu Reeves in Bram Stokers Dracula

Dick Van Dyke in Mary bleedin Poppins.
